Why we started this
We started in San Carlos and Guaymas, watching families scramble after a death — not because they didn't care, but because nobody had ever laid out the plan. It isn't the grief that breaks a family. It's the guessing. Puerto Seguro exists so that guessing is off the table, in a language everyone in the family understands, wherever in Mexico that family calls home.
How we work
We coordinate. We do not practice law. Every legal step — your Mexican will, any court process — is handled by a licensed partner notario público local to your region. We're the ones who make sure nothing falls through the cracks, chase the paperwork, and stand beside your family when it matters. Same platform and playbook everywhere in Mexico; a different local notario and coordinator in each region.
Our Partner Notarios
In San Carlos/Guaymas, our partner notario in your region is our partner notario público, handling all legal work for Puerto Seguro clients there — wills, and coordination on fideicomiso and estate matters that require a notario's seal. As we open each new region, we name a local partner notario there too; see Where We Work for current status.
What we won't do
- We won't mark up a notario, bank, or funeral home fee.
- We won't give legal advice — that's the notario's job, always.
- We won't send your family a message an actual person hasn't reviewed first.
